Belarusian National Youth Council RADA prepared a new resolution to the European Youth Forum!

The team of the Belarusian National Youth Council RADA has prepared and submitted a new resolution “On non-discrimination of young Belarusian activists and support of democratic principles in Europe” for the Spring Meeting of the European Youth Forum (COMEM) Members Council, which will be held on May 13-14, 2022 in Brussels.

The resolution on non-discrimination of young Belarusian activists and support of democratic principles in Europe contains the basic demands for non-discrimination of Belarusians abroad and is also aimed at implementation of additional support to young people forced outside the territory of Belarus for political reasons.

The European Youth Forum is a platform of youth organisations in Europe, representing more than 100 youth organisations and bringing together tens of millions of young people from across Europe. RADA is a full member of the European Youth Forum and is also represented in the Working Group on Youth Rights.

The work of the Youth Forum aims to empower young people to actively participate in society to improve their own lives by representing and championing their needs and interests as well as those of their organisations.

We would remind you that the Belarusian National Youth Council RADA team has already presented a resolution on overcoming the shrinking space and expanding opportunities for young people and a resolution against the death penalty in Belarus, which were approved and adopted by an absolute majority of the European Youth Forum!
