Diplomacy Talks: Belarusian protests and human rights

“Diplomacy Talks” are aimed at developing understanding about the broad variety of career opportunities in International Relations, raising students’ awareness about professional growth in the fields of diplomacy and government work, and strengthening the role of young people in state-building process with the usage of non-formal education. 

The keynote speaker is Miklós Haraszti who served as the OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media and was the UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in Belarus.

Mr. Haraszti will talk about his professional background as a politician, journalist and human rights advocate, discuss the current level of press freedom around the world and provide you with an exclusive insight into the recent events in Belarus.
