Research “History, conditions and practices of volunteer activity development: perspectives for Belarus”

In 2019, the Cult Centre “CORPUS”, the Belarusian National Youth Council “RADA” and the Centre for Legal Transformation “Lawtrend” conducted the study “History, conditions and practices of volunteer activity development: prospects for Belarus”. December 26, 2019 was adopted a decree № 482 “On approval of the plan of preparation of draft laws for 2020,” which provides for the preparation of the Law of the Republic of Belarus “On Volunteering”. At present, non-profit organizations should focus on developing their proposals on the approaches, structure and content of the future law. It is important to prepare proposals in the format of collective discussion from NGOs, which have their own experience of volunteer activities, as well as with the attraction of experts and experts.
