Resolution initiated by RADA to overcome the shrinking space and increase opportunities for young people

The European Youth Forum adopted a Resolution initiated by RADA to overcome the shrinking space and increase opportunities for young people!

Belarusian National Youth Council RADA is very grateful to the adoption of the resolution by the absolute majority of the Forum participants!

The adopted resolution focuses the attention of European and national authorities on the importance of overcoming the problems of youth organizations in connection with the reduction of opportunities in different areas:

• financial
• participation in decision-making process
• access to media
• violation of the autonomy of the youth sector by the authorities

The adoption of the resolution followed on November 22-23 the European Youth Forum, a large youth umbrella structure, brings together more than 100 national youth councils and international youth NGOs.

The main goals of the YFJ:

• increasing youth participation
• youth empowerment
• increasing youth autonomy and inclusion

Only an active and independent youth sector can provide the foundations for building fair and sincere opportunities for young people.
