Training course on advocacy

The Belarusian National Youth Council “RADA” in partnership with the Youth Organizations Forum “GOFor” (Turkey) are organizing a short-term training course on advocacy and companies for young activists from youth organizations of Belarus and Turkey aged between 18-30 years old.

“GOFor” (Youth Organizations Forum) which consists of 70 youth organizations (associations, youth clubs, youth assemblies, youth centers, informal youth groups and a foundation) aims to be one of the key players in the youth policy-making process in Turkey.

The aim of the training course is to increase youth civic activism and participation among young people from partner organizations of “RADA” and “GOFor”.

Requirements for applicants:
– to have a clearly defined idea for the project on advocacy;
– to have at least one year of experience of work in youth organization or initiative;
– to represent a project team that is ready to implement a project that will be developed during the training course;
– to provide a letter of support from your youth organization or initiative. The letter of support should be sent to [email protected] (for applicants from Belarus) with the subject line “Support letter – “Training on advocacy” no later than September 30, 2017.

The projects that will be supported by the end of the training course will be implemented under the guidance of a mentor both for Belarusian and Turkish participants.

Important dates:
Deadline for application – October 6, 2017;
Training dates – November 11-17th, 2017;
Period for project implementation – till the end of January 2018.
