“RADA” represented Belarusian youth at EYE 2025 in Strasbourg

Between June 13 and 14, 2025, Lizavieta Dauhulievich (Chairwoman of “RADA”) and Georg Kvantaliani (Board Member of “RADA”) represented the Belarusian National Youth Council “RADA” at EYE 2025 — the European Youth Event held at the European Parliament in Strasbourg.
The event, organized by the European Parliament, the European Youth Forum, and the Youth Outreach Unit, brings together thousands of young people from across the European Union and beyond every two years. EYE features dozens of workshops, seminars, and interactive activities on a wide range of youth-related topics, all happening simultaneously.
As part of the Eastern Partnership (EaP) National Youth Councils Network, “RADA” co-organized a workshop in collaboration with:
– the National Youth Council of Moldova (CNTM)
– the National Youth Council of Ukraine (NYCU)
– the Danish Youth Council (DUF).

The session, “Bridging the Gap: EU Enlargement,” invited young participants to step into the roles of EU policymakers, youth activists, and representatives of candidate countries. Through interactive role-playing and debate, we explored key questions such as:
– What does EU enlargement mean in practice?
– What political, cultural, and linguistic barriers still remain?
– How can young people help shape the future of a united Europe?
As Georg Kvantaliani noted:
“It was an open and inspiring conversation — driven by youth, for youth. Thank you to all who joined us in building bridges, not borders!”
