“RADA” at the 4th European Youth Work Convention

From May 27 to 30, 2025, representatives of the Belarusian National Youth Council “RADA”, on behalf of the Representative Delegation of the Belarusian Democratic Forces to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), participated in the 4th European Youth Work Convention in Valletta, Malta.

The European Youth Work Conventions (EYWCs), held every five years since 2010, serve as a major platform primarily for youth work practitioners. They also bring together policymakers, researchers, voluntary youth organizations, and youth service providers. The 2025 edition was organized under the Maltese Chairpersonship of the Council of Europe.

This year, the EYWC gathered over 500 participants in Valletta. The event was hosted by the Government of Malta — Aġenzija Żgħażagħ (The Maltese Youth Agency) and the European Union Program Agency (EUPA) — in cooperation with the EU–Council of Europe Youth Partnership.

Held under the theme “Youth Work Xcelerate,” the Convention emphasized youth work as a powerful tool for empowering young people, promoting inclusion, and encouraging active participation. Yulia Ralko (International Secretary of “RADA”) and Aleksandra Dojnicz (Board Member of “RADA”) took part in a dynamic program of workshops and networking meetings with colleagues from across Europe. The BNYC “RADA” contributed to the development of a European Roadmap aimed at enhancing the effectiveness and sustainability of youth work through national and European policies over the next 5 years.
