Advisory Council on Youth Elections 2025: Support Aleksandra Dojnicz!

The Belarusian National Youth Council RADA is hereby nominating a candidate to join the Advisory Council on Youth – Aleksandra Dojnicz, a dedicated activist and researcher, a delegate of Belarusian Democratic Forces to the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities and the RADA’s board member.

About the Advisory Council on Youth

The Advisory Council on Youth (CCJ) is the non-governmental partner in the co-management structure of the Council of Europe’s youth sector. Together with governmental representatives, it sets standards, defines work priorities, and provides recommendations for future programmes and budget allocations.

Composed of 30 representatives from youth NGOs and networks across Europe, the Council’s primary role is to advise the Committee of Ministers on youth-related matters. It ensures that youth perspectives are integrated across the Council of Europe’s activities by offering expert opinions and proposals. In addition, the Advisory Council works to involve young people in the broader work of the Organisation and advocates for youth policies beyond its structures.

The Advisory Council champions the co-management model as a best practice for inclusive, democratic decision-making. It actively encourages young people to engage in shaping their societies and supports their involvement at all levels of governance.

Why Aleksandra?

— I’ve worked with youth organizations and international institutions, and now I’m ready to use my experience to promote innovative and inclusive solutions. I believe that together we can create a better future for everyone! In today’s challenging landscape, it’s more important than ever to have a strong, united youth voice at the heart of the Council of Europe.

Aleksandra’s activities are particularly focused on:

  • Living in Peaceful Societies – empowering youth as active agents in conflict prevention and inclusive community-building.

  • Access to Rights – ensuring every young person can meaningfully access their civic, political, and social rights.

  • Digitalisation and Safe Spaces – advancing youth digital rights and fostering safe online environments for participation and expression.

If elected, Aleksandra will focus on building strong partnerships within the Council of Europe,
collaborating closely with key bodies, and maintaining open channels of communication
with youth organisations to deliver on these priorities.
