(Dis)agreement in Action: New Open Call for RADA’s Educational Program

The Belarusian National Youth Council “RADA” is launching the (Dis)agreement in Action program! This course includes both online and offline components, where you will learn nonviolent communication and constructive conflict resolution.
What to Expect?
The program is a workshop-style experience where all learning happens through exploration, experimentation, case study analysis, discussions, and hands-on practice. Over the course of six months, you’ll not only gain new knowledge but also train your ability to communicate nonviolently and effectively. So, you’ll
- understand what conflict is and what it consists of;
- explore why and how to identify your own and others’ needs in a conflict — and how to meet those needs;
- practice negotiation with a focus on the needs and interests of all parties;
- learn how to find and strengthen mutual understanding with others;
- discover methods for taking care of yourself during conflict.
Who Are the Trainers?
The program is led by Ukrainian and Polish experts with over 10 years of experience in nonviolent communication, mediation, dialogue facilitation, and navigating complex situations.
What’s the Program Format?
- Three offline gatherings: in June, August, and October;
- Monthly online sessions: mandatory and optional;
- Mentoring consultations with the trainers, based on your individual needs — for example, support in resolving personal conflicts or diving deeper into topics you’re most interested in.
Program Languages
- Russian (most sessions),
- English (interpretation will be available)
The first online session will take place in mid-May and will include two 2-hour meetings.
The preliminary dates for the first offline gathering are June 27 – 30.
Participation in the program is free! However, registration is required.
Applications are accepted until April 30, 2025.
